We currently have an opening in Toronto for an Account / Quality Assurance Manager with strong drive and experience in leading teams, testing and client management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in understanding business support system software within a telecom organization as well as software testing, managing a testing team, working within a startup Wireless environment and client management.
Responsibilities: Responsible for project success as it relates to the account Manage the onsite and offshore testing team to success Primary liaison for the client Provide executive status reports and communication Manage the budget, schedule, and resources on the team Manage project contracts Educate the client on ExcelaCom's QA methodology Work with the client on test clarifications around requirements Support the test team through success Help build the account
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university At least 4 years of consulting experience with a top consulting firm 3+ years of Wireless experience Experience managing at least 3 accounts independently, working directly for a client and providing Account Management types of services Minimum of 8 years project management experience Minimum of 5 years managing and leading test teams in the United States or Canada Minimum of 5 years of experience doing test planning, test case writing, test execution, issue tracking, metrics tracking and other QA processes and procedures Minimum of 8 years providing management services to a client Minimum of 2+ years working with offshore teams in India Must have worked within a Wireless startup environment 1+ years of experience with Test Director / defect tracking Willingness to travel up to 100% when business needs require Can demonstrate high level of written and oral communication in the English language experience
Can demonstrate the ability to facilitate conference calls and communicate test issues as well as trouble shooting Demonstrates the ability to provide clear and detailed status on what has been executed for the day Can demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Has worked with C level customers, providing status, reports, etc Can demonstrate creative problem-solving capabilities Demonstrates the ability to work in teams as well as independently with little supervision Demonstrates proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project Telecom, especially Wireless experience is preferred
