The Planning Supervisor's primary focus is to provide first line management and supervision to staff working in a centralized planning team. The Planning Supervisor will lead and motivate the planning team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and efficiency are delivered. The Planning Supervisor will ensure their team delivers financial and operational performance targets and meets all internal process and controls as required. The Planning Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring that on a day to day basis resources are balanced with customer demand and standards of service are achieved.

Assists with management of manpower and workload balancing
Assists with management of forecast variance against actual
Provides support and guidance to planning staff regarding resource balancing and in day dispatch
Manage standards of service and appointment availability
Ensures customer appointments are met or changes communicated in a timely manner
Ensures technician productivity levels are maintained at target levels
Liaises with field management over resource utilization and balancing issues
Manages Call Centre relationship
Analyze and interpret forecast and incoming-data demand
Resource for resolution of disputes
Assists with the management of the departments financial and operating performance
Assists with compliance within the team for all policies and procedures
Reviews and facilitates implementation of new products and processes
Identifies shortcomings in processes and systems that affect performance
Ensures coordination of specialty services with installations
Approval of CyberShift payroll system
Ensuring that queue's are managed within timeframe outlined in policy manual
Ensures field errors are corrected within timely manner
Assists with customer retention
Ensures franchise and expansion support for after hours is met
Supervises contingency processes

Post secondary education or equivalent
Knowledge of the HVAC industry
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
Demonstrated business or management experience
Ability to assist with managing employee issues (union or non-union)
Demonstrated working knowledge of computers
Capable of working well under pressure and understanding business processes
Strong decision making abilities and ability to focus on and impact results
Ability to understand financial reports and the impacts on the bottom line
