Principal Responsibilities
Contact customers, former customers, and potential customers in order to quote, validate, and sell Life, Accident, and Sickness insurance policies on behalf of Protocol's Clients.
Quote prices and explain insurance policies and coverage to existing and potential customers.
Explain services to Customers, adhering to script and Protocol, Client, and government regulations.
Provide excellent customer service answering customer inquiries and concerns closing sales and up-selling whenever possible.
Adhere to specified Protocol Client guidelines and established quality standards.
Exhibit strong understanding of and ability to explain multiple insurance products to customers.
Meet or exceed specified sales goal expectations including Sales per Hour (SPH) and partner with other Licensing Representatives to meet or exceed production targets.
Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with all Federal, Provincial, and Territorial laws and regulations.
Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with Protocol policies and procedures.
Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.
Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate or equivalent in relevant work experience desired.
Valid Residential Full Life Insurance License required and obtained through the LLQP (Life Licensed Qualification Program).
Previous telesales experience preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
Ability to prioritize and organize work.
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
