Milestones is a category leader in casual upscale dining. This full service restaurant and bar provides an upscale, cool and casual atmosphere. The team is hip and energetic and the restaurant is a favourite with city residents and tourists alike.
Overview
Reporting to the Chef, and management team, Line/Prep Cook is responsible for the efficient operation of all kitchen systems.
Major Responsibilities:
Preparing food items according to Milestone's specifications.
Ensuring a sense of urgency with all tasks.
Opening/Closing and side duties as per Kitchen systems.
Consistently following systems.
Cleaning Duties as per each station.
Adhering to Milestone's Values & Principles.
Having FUN with teammates & respect them as internal guests
Job Requirements
Passionate about great food with a unique twist
Highly organized
Self motivated
Possess strong communication skills
Committed to ensuring the highest level of cleanliness
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Available to work flexible hours
