Broadstreet is seeking a dynamic self starter to lead our teams throughout Western Canada.
The newly developed position of Operations/General Manager is waiting for an experienced, positive, motivating and forward thinking people manager to apply. Apartment property management experience is definetly an asset but superior organizational, communication and human resource management skills are a requirement.
Working from our corporate head office in beautiful Campbell River, BC, the successful candidate will travel out to our many regions to mentor, mold and lead our regional teams.
Responsibilities include:
Provide overall operations management by leading a team of managers and staff throughout all four western Canada Regions
Manage the day-to-day operations of the regions by overseeing all operational duties and tasks
Provide leadership, coaching and direction to a team of individuals within the region and encourage ongoing development of team
Manage the recruitment process for the regions and ensure proper staffing levels throughout the fluctuations in business or seasonal requirements
Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times throughout all sites
Communicate with regional managers and directors on a regular basis
Serve as a role model for Regional managers in order to foster development and increase operational effectiveness
Oversee expense control for sites and ensure costs are maintained for labour, supplies etc.
Develop plans to meet business objectives and targets
Foster positive relations with staff through recognition programs and awards
