Primary Objective:
The focus of this position will be to work with residential appraisals for the entire province of PEI; however, working in tandem with 14 other Altus Group offices across Canada on varied portfolios may be required from time to time.
Date Position Available: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Interact with appraisal management companies, real estate brokers, agents, private investors and homeowners with respect to setting up appointments, viewing properties, preparing reports as well interacting with appraisal management companies
Daily interaction with clients (phone/email/ in-person)
Must have access to reliable vehicle daily as travel throughout Island
Provide point of contact for clients via Blackberry even in off hours
Combination of office, travel and outdoor work
Regular Work Hours:
Professional employees are expected to work a forty (40) hour work week
Flexibility is required with significant time investment during periods of heavy demand
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
Familiar with real estate valuation analyses
Possess excellent computer skills (using Microsoft Office, CRAL and various other software programs)
Possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Acquired the self discipline required to complete assigned tasks with little supervision
Interested in those who have started or who are interested in starting the degree work necessary to attain the required designation in residential real estate appraisal
