For over 25 years, Bulat Homes has been building single quality, custom, family homes in the Ottawa area. Looking for a Construction Foreman/Supervisor with over 10 years experience. Job Purpose: C ompletes the construction of energy star rated single family homes, and townhomes, by scheduling materials, and subcontractors; monitoring progress; supervising site staff and sub-contractors. Duties: A ll aspects of construction quality control, and supervising of sub-contractors.
Involved in the preparation of estimates, and monitoring of budgets. Preparation of construction schedules, and regular updates, and responsible for meeting construction schedule. Ordering and scheduling materials and scheduling subcontractors. Monitoring of construction projects by confirming instructions for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, concrete, painting, and related trades.
Conduct regular inspections. Approves and verifies construction by conducting inspections. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Resolving customer TARION warranty and service items.
Requirements: working knowledge of construction drawings, and specifications. Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing in English. Computers skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills An engineering or technology degree in a related field.
