We’re not just seeking someone who talks the talk, but someone who walks the Food & Beverage walk by maintaining consistency, structure, and profitability in our 24/7 operation. Our next F&B leader believes in coaching, guiding, and mentoring and understands that they are only as successful as the success of their F&B and Casino operations team as a whole. Diplomatic yet persistent, our next Manager, Food & Beverage , will also be tasked with seeking out new business methods, processes, and opportunities as our property develops and expands from a casino to a resort in a short period of time. Details of this dynamic role include:
Providing leadership, direction and mentoring to the Food & Beverage operation as well as developing Performance Objectives and delivering Performance Evaluations for your direct reports
Directing the day-to-day activities of your Food & Beverage colleagues in front and back of house operations
Managing and maintaining the Food & Beverage budget and preparing proposals for larger purchases/maintenance projects for the General Management team to review
Sourcing suppliers and making recommendations
Organizing and assisting with conducting monthly inventory counts
Maximizing the revenues of our multiple F&B outlets while minimizing operating costs
Offering Food and Beverage expertise to internal and external guests
Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Developing and cultivating Great Experiences and Memories with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performing other duties as assigned or directed
Our next Manager, Food & Beverage, will bring the following qualifications to Boulevard Casino:
Minimum of 5 years Food & Beverage Management experience
Post Secondary hospitality or hotel education or suitable combination of education and experience
Experience in Hotel Operations is a definite asset
Previous spearheading of employee engagement initiatives through leading a team of managers, supervisors, and front-line staff
Proven track record of driving the profitability of Food & Beverage operations
Computer literacy in MS Office; POS experience
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development

Food Safe Level 2 certification
Serving It Right, Smart Serve or IGB certification, or the ability to obtain a Serving it Right Certification
