Senior Tax Analyst - US Tax

Duties & Responsibilities

Preparation of the US consolidated federal and state corporate income tax returns, including tax extensions, gathering information from Corporate Accounting and Business Units, and conducting related tax research.
Preparation of the monthly tax provisions for U.S. entities, including quarterly deferred tax calculations.
Reconciliation all related tax accounts balances to SAP GL account balances.
Prepare monthly Texas Gross Margin Tax accruals and deal with related tax issues.
Preparation of U.S. Property Tax Reports and ensure timely payment of tax bills.
Calculate quarterly estimated tax payments and ensure all installments and tax payments are submitted on a timely basis.
Annual filing of Information Return Form 1042 on interest payments to foreign entities.
Assistance in U.S. tax audits including gathering information for auditors.
Assistance in tax research and tax planning projects as required.
Readiness to accept any ad hoc tax projects.

University degree and an accounting designation, CA/CMA/CGA/CPA/ACCA-UK
Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in US taxation.
Strong working knowledge of US federal & State income tax, sales tax, business property and payroll taxes.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Highly analytical & detailed oriented.
