Executive Director West Central Crisis and Family Support Centre – Kindersley
Since 1984 our Client, the West Central Crisis and Family Support Centre in Kindersley, SK has provided a broad range of crisis support services to individuals and families throughout the West Central region of Saskatchewan. Their focused mandate and commitment to providing these support services and outreach programming to the target region continues. Our Client seeks a vibrant, compassionate and driven Executive Director to lead their team’s development, while continuing their reputation for providing exceptional client services/counselling. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall operation of the Centre, and will:
support, develop, and provide individual, group, family and/or mandated counselling services
provide direction, training, and support to the Centre’s staff
manage all operational aspects of the office, including program development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation
liaise with communities agencies, promote the Centre, and participate on community committees and events
The successful candidate is a skilled communicator who is a community-minded leader, mentor, decision-maker, manager and advisor for the staff, Board and various programs associated with the Centre. The Executive Director must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Masters Preferred) in Social Work, Sociology or Psychology. Demonstrated experience in dealing with family violence situations, crisis intervention and counseling, and case management is required. Management skills required include planning, resource allocation, budgeting, human resources management, programming, reporting, and evaluation. Experience working with a Board is an asset.
