Real Estate Conveyancing (Full Time)
An excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a stable, friendly and professional work environment. Great potential for growth. Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with REALTORS® to ensure accurate and complete documents are received for real estate transactions
  • File management and data entry using the Lone System
  • Calculating/checking REALTORS® commission figures on TRS
  • Creating accurate sales reports
  • Recording buyers’ cheques/drafts
  • Sending documentation/conveyance reports to relevant lawyers/other brokers
  • Issuing excess deposit cheques and other broker cheques from Trust Accounts
  • Entering cheques received from lawyers/other brokers on completion (includes pickup/drop off at office)
  • Finalizing files on completion for commission payouts
  • Completing Commission payroll payouts for REALTORS® using EFT/Scotiaconnect system
  • Obtaining Daily reports on banking and commission payouts for approval/signature
  • Ensuring the proper Council forms and FINTRAC/CREA forms are received
  • Bank reconciliation and approval
  • Assisting management with month end reporting
  • Reception and Administration
  • Perform other duties where required
  • Document control and file maintenance
  • Handle confidential information
  • Manage monthly AP and AR
  • Prepare and issueT4A at year end

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and behaviours:
- Minimum 3 years of conveyancing experience
- Computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc)
- Enthusiastic, outgoing and welcoming personality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills
- Focused and detail oriented
- Self-starter, proactive, reliable and can work independently
