The successful candidate will be responsible to perform career transition solutions consulting services including business development and service delivery.
Reporting to the local Senior Manager, the Senior Consultant will provide leadership to consultants in the region to realize profitable growth through human resources consulting services. The Senior Consultant will work supportively and closely to assist clients to develop a customized action plan based on individual needs, augmented by the use of electronic and on-line career tools. Coaching plays a huge role in creating successful outcomes.
1. Deliver on projects, maintain a billable portfolio by:
Providing coaching consultations and working with the clients both in-house and at the client site.
Working with clients within the scope of the proposal to develop and deliver agreed upon solutions.
Using technical expertise to ensure consistent delivery and quality of consulting services.
Liaising with BD people to scope and clarify practice-related opportunities.
Maintaining active dialogue with clients to ensure satisfaction and that expectations are not only met but exceeded.
Researching and developing new Career Transition/Career Management materials.
Designing and delivering seminars.
2. Develop new business opportunities (no cold calls) by:
Contributing to local thought leadership and marketing initiatives.
Prospecting and networking to develop opportunities.
Meeting with clients, following up on leads.
Identifying business opportunities with existing and new clients.
Working with existing clients to identify any other business needs that can be addressed.
Developing, writing proposals.
Following up with clients to close business sales.
Fostering and encouraging a team selling approach.
Selling integrated human capital solution services.
3. Participate in product development by:
Surfacing regional client and market issues to the NPL to foster the development of client-focused solutions.
Looking for new and innovative ways to address client needs.
Developing new ideas and solutions for the marketplace.
Preparing new product information sessions for other team members.
4. Act as a positive member of the team by:
Building a cohesive regional practice team and providing strategic direction and leadership to the consultants in the regional practice.
Understanding the company's values and vision statement.
Adapting and contributing to the positive working environment.
Master’s Degree is ideal or equivalent blend of formal education and experience.
Business experience in private sector, either in line management, corporate or consulting positions
Consulting/coaching to internal/external clients
Sales and Marketing experience, considered an asset
