We are busy marketing company, located in downtown Toronto and are in search of an energetic and proactive individual with a proven background in bookkeeping to join our accounting team. The accounting assistant/bookkeeper will be responsible for AR, AP, Ceridian payroll and project budget reconciliations in this newly created, full time role. (40hrs/week)

The ideal candidate:
- 3 years of Canadian accounting experience in a similar junior to intermediate role
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, Quickbooks or other
accounting software
- Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal training/supervision
- Excellent English language skills in written and verbal communication

- create excel reports for monthly sales and reconcile deposit distribution
- allocate, enter and reconcile staff credit card expenses
- budget reconciliations for various projects
- allocate, enter AP invoices, cheque preparation, reconcile brokerage statements
- prepare and enter AR, follow up and track overseas wire payments
- create excel payroll reports, process payroll (Ceridian) and other payroll reporting
- other projects as assigned

Salary Range $37K - $40K, commensurate based on experience
