We are Red Crow, an EA studio in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island, and we have a deep history of making quality games: including NBA Jam, Trade Nations, and The Simpsons: Tapped out. Our studio is a spacious top floor in a heritage building within the downtown waterfront area. We’re looking for someone driven by quality and innovation to join our team and help us continue to deliver outstanding games.

As a Producer, you’ll be leading the development of games based on new or existing licenses for one or multiple platforms. You’ll act as the product owner, working with designers, development managers/directors, artists and engineering to deliver features to support the franchise strategy.

Responsibilities
Develop the creative center of the game, and build a fully playable/shippable level/features demonstrating the key attributes of the game (game play, technology, etc).
Work with a licensing partner to ensure the game properly reflects the values of the brand.
Effectively communicate the core experience of your game to other parts of the Electronic Arts organization.
Work with your key reports and colleagues (Development Director, Art Director, Audio Director, Technical Director and Associate Producers) to create an organizational structure, processes and project plan that allow the team to efficiently produce high quality work on time and on budget.
Work with the product manager/analyst to understand game market trends, patterns and customer requirements.
Understand and communicate issues facing various types of game play, artistic and technical considerations, and the ability to forecast the ramifications of decisions made during the concept/pre-production phase.
Passionately articulate goals and team principles to help form a stimulating and fun work environment/culture. Champion the professional development of your people and ensure that EA continues to employ the very best individuals.
Guide project teams and verify projects tasks, milestones and resource requirements across multiple simultaneous projects.
Determines, approves and manages required projects changes from a schedule and budget perspective, and impact on the rest of the production team.
Initiates and manage third party developments, approve milestones deliverables and drive third party studio to create high quality work on time and on budget.

Requirements
Easily communicates ideas in spoken and written form.

Organized and able to work within a group.
Scrum / Agile development knowledge
Independent and demonstrates good leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of mobile games and their business models.
Follows and establishes working methods that emphasize quality and innovation.
Familiar with production tools and multimedia software.
Strong conceptual and technical writing skills (in English).
University degree or equivalent.
Five (5) years experience in driving interactive product design.
Three (3) published games with active participation in all phases of production.

Assets
Producer experience on a video game.
Knowledge and skills in game prototyping.
Freemium and social gaming experience.
iOS and Android game development experience.
Game prototyping and fast iteration experience
