An exciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated individual. The Chrysalis Team in Edmonton is recruiting a Full Time (37.5 hours) Community Disabilities Service Practitioner to assist in our vibrant Art Program. This dynamic role will provide you with an opportunity to work closely with our Art Program Facilitator and individuals who participate in the Art Program. Your role will provide support, resources and opportunities to people based on the self-determined goals and objectives of the individuals. Our program is designed to provide people with and form of communication and expression through various art mediums. The incumbent may provide assistance and facilitation, coaching and mentoring, support and care while providing many opportunities and experience ensuring people are achieving value through meaningful and relevant practices. We are seeking someone who recognizes success is achieved through strong team work, ethical practice, and an energetic optimistic professional approach. Diploma Community Rehabilitation or Disabilities Studies
2-3 years related experience
Diploma/Certificates in Fine Arts and/or related experience in providing group Art instruction/facilitation in a formal setting
Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Valid Emergency First Aid/CPR certificate
Current Criminal Record Check is required (within the last 3 months)
