AM/PM Service is currently receiving entry-level to mid-level applications for the position of Fuel Systems Software Support in the Calgary or Regina location.
Please note this is not a programming or network admin. job; it is an install and call support position for Windows-based point of sale systems.
The successful candidate will be required to work with clients on site during installation and training and over the phone to resolve POS related problems/questions after the installation.
A working knowledge of computers and Windows Operating System is an asset, with an ability to learn and understand proprietary POS systems quickly. A positive friendly manner and customer service approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity is a necessity. The potential candidate must have good communication skills, and be both self-motivated and work well in a close team environment.
Outstanding problem solving skills with a high attention to detail is a must. Candidates must have the aptitude to listen and effectively understand a situation with the ability to respond with clarity and professionalism. We require this individual to provide pleasant and professional customer service via telephone and remote access connections. This position does require travel (5 days per month) and on call dial in support during and outside of regular business hours (approx. 1 week per month rotation). Applicant must have valid driver’s license.
While 1-2 years experience in the IT field and/or a gas bar retail is an asset, comprehensive training will be provided. Training will include system setup, installation, customer training and support.
