Food service Supervisors, supervise, direct and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food. Establish work schedules, estimate and order ingredients and supplies, ensure food service and quality control, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Prepare and submit reports (as required) Prepare food order summaries for management. Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres. Establish methods to meet work schedules, train staff in job duties sanitation and safety procedures.
Terms of employment: Permanent, full time, shift, weekend, day and evening.
Salary: $13.00 hourly for forty hours weekly.
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible. Two positions.
Skill requirements: Previous experience supervising: 1-2 years
Languages: Speak English, read English, write English.
Work setting: Cafeteria, coffee shop.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: include working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure with tight deadlines. Standing for extended periods of time. Lifting up to 10 kilograms.
Ability to supervise: 3-5 people.
