Fun and productive workplace although it can get stressful
Front Counter Attendant (Former Employee) – North Vancouver, BC – 27 October 2016
Mcdonalds offers a genuine environment to the guests and to the crew. We are trained well on doing fast food work and given precautions to stay safe. I get along well with my co-workers, which makes working more fun as we share the same goal of serving our guests as best as we can. Although Mcdonalds is a fun and productive environment, working there won't be as easy as asking a customer of his day and give his change and receipt. Since it's a fast-food chain, the speed of making the product while ensuring its quality while managing to communicate well with guests are characteristics all crews must have; and it takes time to get used to it and learn the strategies. It is definitely a good start to work at because it offers well-executed training, and it sums up the majority of the basic skills you need to have as a member of a team. All of these self-improvement stepping stone although in a low income salary, gets me started in figuring out what my field of interest is.
