Loose management structure/poor training
Resource Chef (Former Employee) – Buffalo, NY – 28 September 2017
Many jobs have listed expectations and duties, however few truly match what your boss wants. Work/Life balance is fairly good, but training is severely lacking. Few people can truly show you what they expect or want. You're just expected to know. One facility has a completely different expectation and list of what they want from another. Very arbitrary assessment of your job due to low level of contact with those above you. Many people appear to be in positions just due to their time in the company, so few people come from outside the company. This leads to a very closed outlook to anything that doesn't come from inside the company. Interviewing process is from a sheet of questions that results in a very "clinical" process where the goal is hearing some "correct" answer. Still a very arbitrary process that takes into account little outside of these answers.
Advancement with time, vacation policy, benefits
Little contact with others outside of your facility, pay level, feedback, assessment of performance
