As a Wholesaler, you will deliver the CIAM brand through advisors to long-term investors. By identifying the right advisors and properly positioning CIAM, you are the focal point and set the stage for success based on long-term relationships, results and superior service. You manage the territory, including advisors working on brokerage, planning, insurance and fee-for-service platforms, through effective organization and planning. You focus your efforts through quality calls with the right advisors, not quantity of calls with untargeted audiences. Your territory will include British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Hiring Criteria Sales Skills & Industry Know-How:

Have a distinguished sales record with at least 3 years of experience.

Have developed close relationships with advisors, brokers and financial planners in your region – particularly those with long-term investment perspectives using managed money providers.

Have proven experience in developing a broker and advisor sales plan and budget that identifies key targets and tactics for reaching them profitably.

Are a student of the investment industry, bringing knowledge of and technical proficiency in the investment funds industry.

Have shown meticulous customer service and follow through.

Have strong sales and influencing skills – able to quickly assess meeting or organizational dynamics and interact nimbly with clients and prospects, establishing rapport quickly and distinguishing between attractive and unattractive prospects.

Interpersonal Skills & Attributes - You:
Are independent, autonomous, disciplined and highly motivated, with a strong inclination to self-management and self-improvement with minimal supervision and feedback.

Have a track record of accomplishments, earned loyalty, and long-term relationships.

Can look beyond your day-to-day affairs to promote CIAM objectives, finding the “right” answer and having the maturity to recognize that it may not be your answer, and being able to say “no” for the right reasons while building the relationship.

Have excellent listening, observational and interpersonal skills.

Have strong presentation skills in multiple settings: from small groups to large forums.

Can forge relationships with others inside and outside the firm that are based on mutual respect, loyalty and trust.

Are effective working in an entrepreneurial, multinational environment.

Can travel, especially in the start-up stage, recognizing that this may decrease as business grows and the territory size reduces.
