Responsibilities:
Maintains customer and distributor contact providing comprehensive technical product application assistance

Provides management with suggestions for improving volume market share and price levels

Technical customer presentation support on protection relays and substation automation systems

Explain new application / solutions with IEC61850 to the Clients

Protection Engineer to support the Clients customers in the design and development of protective relay systems and applications that incorporate protective relay products

Technical support and troubleshooting on protection relays and Substation Automation Systems questions

Provides management with suggestions for improving volume market share and price levels

Performs the design of complex hardware and software application solutions

Completes recommendations for alternatives or changes to complex customer specifications and or processes to better match

Company products to customer needs and to improve productivity eg for Wind Park Solar and Smart Grid projects

Protection Engineer to support the Clients customers in the design and development of protective relay systems and applications that incorporate protective relay products

Develop new application solutions with IEC61850

Technical support and troubleshooting on protection relays and Substation Automation Systems questions

Qualifications

Electrical Engineering degree

Minimum 5 year experience in numerical protection and applications

Experience in a sales and/or customer service role with local market knowledge is a strong advantage

Demonstrated knowledge on at least one of the following vendors relay products (Siemens, SEL, GE, ABB, AREVA) and preferred also from the associated software packages

Understanding of Protection Schemes and Logic Diagrams based on Technical Drawings

Demonstrated ability to understand and handle general protection problems

Experience completing recommendations for alternatives or changes to customer specifications and/or processes to better match

Result and strategic oriented with developed negotiation skills

Customer oriented with strong communication and team spirit
