SPECIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

Masters Degree

Minimum 5 Years experience

Understanding of sheet metal formability and die operations

Manufacturing knowledge of stamping, and other process technologies

Ability to interpret Metallurgical Failure modes for components/systems that have failed in tests.

Working knowledge of Engineering Release systems.

Administer CAD data to meet internal and external requirements

Ability to use network or PC based computer systems (Microsoft preferred).

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Good Mechanical Aptitude

Basic Math and Computer Skills

Orientation, WHMIS, Fire Extinguisher, 5S, CI Suggestion Program, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 training as prescribed by QEMS (see matrixes)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Expert knowledge of running stamping formability simulation using one or more of the following software: Autoform, PamStamp, LS Dyna

Support manager in all activities of the FEA simulation and analysis area to ensure efficient use of personnel, materials, equipment and time. Support manager to ensure projects are delivered timely and meet all Cosma standards, Customer specific standards and Customer requirements.

Communicate as directed, with Engineering department information pertinent to efficient and timely completion of all projects supported FEA simulation and analysis

Communicate as directed with Engineering department to ensure accuracy and completeness

Communicate when requested with Customers in matters related to jobs in development, in process and completed.

Keep abreast of the latest FEA simulation technology

Comply with all Massiv rules and regulations any and all company policies, rules and regulations.

Assist and support immediate and indirect supervisors as requested

Use good judgment in all matters of work practices, conduct and safety

Responsible to carry out duties for Health, Safety, and Environment in accordance with the HS&E Agreement for Employees - Addendum

Responsible for applicable QEMS policies, procedures & work instructions

Perform other reasonable duties as required
