Role Purpose:To maximize territory sales and profitability by working closely with retail locations and selected growers. Excellent customer service will be delivered by offering services above and beyond just basic agronomic needs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Meet or ideally exceed territory sales targets and objectives by:Focusing on maintaining strong relationships with grower customersActing as primary liaison for all retail accounts within territory which includes developing and implementing annual business plans to influence end-user demandFocusing on micromarket must win battles and micromarket plans for territory growthManaging the overall cereals seed budget for the territoryResponsible for trade shows, tours and product launches for crop protection and seeds within their territoryMay be expected to represent district on account teamsMay act as the primary contact for Key Account personnel within their territoryLiaises with Seed Care Specialists to develop territory opportunitiesCommunicates with Campaign teams to provide input on development of field marketing opportunities in the micromarketConducts product inquiries and liaises with appropriate internal resources on resolution of product inquiries.QUALIFICATIONS:Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Marketing, Commerce or Science required; Bachelor’s Degree preferredSales experience in a related field (Crop Protection or Seed Industry Preferred); Proven success in developing and maintaining relationships with grower and retail customersFirst hand knowledge of farming operationsKnowledge of seed and crop protection industries including agronomics, general cropping practices, agricultural technology and trends and requirements for pest control Strong technical knowledge of Syngenta and competitive products, new and existing technologyExcellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work within a team in a matrix environmentProven capabilities in the areas of: influencing, negotiation, strategizing and innovatingExcellent communications (oral and written)Strong problem solving/decision making skillsHighly organized with the ability to multi-task.Skilled with Microsoft OfficeTo Apply, Please Click APPLY TO THIS POSITION Below.
