Position Overview – Merchandiser

This position is responsible for being the face of the Brick demonstrating your enthusiasm while delivering superior customer service skills to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

Job Description:
Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with inventory counts

Loading and unloading of trucks from warehouse, including product inspection

Moving and lifting of product

Furniture assembly and wrapping

Running and updating price tags, understanding and ability to create clearance pricing

Customer carry-outs and invoice finalizing

Flexibility to work all shifts, evenings and weekends

Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently, sometimes with minimal supervision

Go above and beyond to offer great customer service

Strong attention to store detail, product placement, license plates, price tags, etc

Qualifications:
Preferred experience in warehouse/merchandiser position of retail organization

High school diploma or GED

Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills

Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team

Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion

Maintain an appearance and conduct suitable for working with the public

Demonstrated flexibility and excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work and function independently while completing a variety of tasks accurately and with close attention to detail under pressure of deadlines with frequent interruptions or distractions

Organizational and time management skills sufficient to independently establish priorities and coordinate and complete competing assignments within established timeframes

Ability to maintain organized records

Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment
