Skill Requirements: Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Restaurant
Supervisory Experience: Food and beverage servers, Food service counter attendants and food preparers, Kitchen and food service helpers
Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Establish work schedule, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Prepare and submit reports, Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
Additional Skills: Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Hire food service staff
Ability to Supervise: 16-20 people
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing
