For the Business Atlantic market, develops the strategy and in year plan, secures the necessary support to execute on plan with cross functional team. Identifies and evaluates new initiatives and reviews existing programs required to support TELUS's marketing strategies.
Responsible and accountable for the end to end development of a marketing strategy campaign, program and/or initiative including the allocation of the budget and development of the ROI and KPIs.
Leverage command of market knowledge to build, secure alignment, and execute an integrated market(ing) strategy (including multiple programs - cross portfolio, cross channel, cross function).
Understand the competitive landscape to quantify the threat of competitive developments and identify appropriate action/responses by TELUS by working with a cross functional team.
Leads the development and presentation of business cases.
Build and maintain consensus with multiple stakeholders around the marketing strategy.
Contribute to the development of initiatives to establish best in class practices within TELUS.
Provide informal guidance and mentoring to team members which may include participation in the performance review process.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrate influence and strategy skills; planning, budget management, variance reporting; root cause analysis.
Proven ability to make strategic recommendations on gap closure initiatives, secure alignment and budget.
Confidently present ideas to leaders.
Proven Risk management and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent leadership, analytical, communication and presentation skills. Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, meet tight deadlines and tolerate ambiguity. Understanding of TELUS products, services and strategic direction.
Program management expertise.
Fluent in French and English
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
Related bachelor's or master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Post-secondary courses in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related subjects preferred.
5+ years progressive experience in Marketing and business management positions. Telecom/industry experience and exposure to a variety of marketing roles would be beneficial.
