Sales Support Analyst
(Moncton, New Brunswick)
This position supports and implements the new/addenda pricing solutions (and relevant legal language) for contracting process across multiple product lines/industries/currencies. Duties include development, contract maintenance, data retrieval, reporting, analysis, and creating/responding to client proposals. The Sales Support Analyst 2 duties include frequent communication with Sales, Finance, Product Managementand implementation groups.
This position is responsible for:
- managing contract pricing solutions through internal processing system, including extensions, pricing recalc process, and drafting of legal language associated with pricing solutions;
- managing ongoing revisions to pricing solutions, internal P&L data, billing reports and updating internal client systems as required for uploading into additional internal systems;
- maintaining pricing solutions database, which houses information about pricing solutions (present/past), relevant legal language (present/past), and notifying department of revisions;
- performing scheduling and ad hoc reporting to identify maintenance cancelations/ downgrades for financial analysis , and other internal customers;
- acting as a liaison between the department and internal content providers. In this role the analyst will develop strong working relationships with internal content providers, analyzing discrepancies and seeking approval to include/exclude internal third-party content in pricing solutions, including P&L and revenue recognition;
- working toward mutually beneficial content pricing solutions based on the needs and circumstances of individual customers;
- analyzing all incoming contracts verifying that all data relevant to pricing solution is accurate including internal third party content/approvals in the internal processing system. Notifying internal third-parties of any discrepancies when required before proceeding - rejecting if necessary;
- managing the creation/response to client proposals working with internal content providers. Responsible for final presentation to client;
- providing back-up support to analysts during periods of especially high-volume workflow; and
- identifying opportunities to improve processes and performances, and taking on additional projects as assigned by manager.
You will be a strong team player and will possess:
- a four year college degree in business, finance, accounting or other relevant major preferred;
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience;
- written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with a professional client base;
- demonstrated Excel analysis and reporting experience;
- demonstrated Word design experience;
- demonstrated marketing skills;
- strong analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving;
- the ability to exercise independent judgment and recognize the critical financial impact to the business; and
- the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast paced environment.
