Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) is seeking a dynamic, motivated and results-oriented Telecommunications Project Manager for a position based out of our Saskatoon or Regina office. At LTS, we build and service all types of communication networks for customers across North America. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operations by developing and monitoring project performance against project plans / schedules to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget for multiple projects within the LTS Field Operations group.

Provides clear direction to team members on budgets, schedules, key milestones and workload to capitalize on individual opportunities
Works collaboratively with field supervisors to ensure that the quality of materials and work meet or exceed standards identified in approval documents.
Develop and update schedules and project plans.
Develops and maintains a good working relationship with all clients developing and growing existing clients.
Pursues and develops new business opportunities for the company in their division or region. This includes participating in the estimating process.
Develops control budgets for work and forecasts costs from the budgets.
Maintains and tracks costs and billings and reports regularly on variances from expectations against the budget and schedule
Acts as the main point of contact with the client / owner and protects LTS and the owner’s interest in carrying out the work.
Clearly defines expectations for all that are involved in the project.
Ensures all documents used are complete and ensures all necessary reports are produced and circulated to appropriate individuals.
Handle claims brought forth by the customer.
SLA reporting, validation and presentation.
Work order validation/auditing.
Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
Working towards or possess Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation
Technical certification in telecommunications or related field preferred or relevant industry experience
Minimum of 5 years direct experience within the industry with 2 years recent project manager/leadership experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to plan and organize workload and work with multiple deadlines.
Considerable business & financial acumen
Facilitator and mentor; moves the team forward in conflict situations.
Strong problem solving, process improvement and data analysis skills – Six Sigma certification preferred.
Possess project and change management skills.
Ability to work with a variety of individuals.
Excellent customer service focus.
Solid competency of working in a Microsoft Suite environment. Considerable experience with Excel and Word is required.
Strong skills in time management.
A strong ability to analyze data and performance on an individual and group level. Must have the ability to facilitate the execution of rapid and timely movement of projects from start up to completion.
Demonstrates flexibility in dealing with internal and external customer demands
Ability to drive change into an organization or group
Demonstrates analytical thinking as a method of problem solving
Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Work Conditions
