Our Mississauga office has an exciting opportunity for a
Water Resources Engineer
to join our GeoEngineering Team and service our mining and geotechnical engineering clients across Canada. Projects will include aspects of civil, geotechnical, mining and environmental engineering. The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work on moderately complex multi-disciplined engineering projects.
Responsibilities:

Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic investigations using such tools as XP SWMM, PC SWMM, QHM, Visual OTTHYMO, SWMHYMO, MIDUSS, HSP-F, HEC RAS, and others;
·
Technical Report writing;
·
Field Data Abstraction/Collection;
·
Support Intermediate/Senior Engineering Team; and
·
Travel and / or fieldwork may be required
Knowledge/Experience:
·
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in a related Hydrology or Civil or Water Resources Engineering field required; a Masters degree would be an asset;
·
10+ years experience in water resources mining related projects;
·
Skilled report writing, proven oral and written communication skills;
·
Proficiency with hydrology and hydraulic modeling programs;
·
Understanding and ability to carry out hydrology and hydraulic analyses including water balances, reservoir routing, surface water profiles, culvert and bridge design, sizing of pumping systems; and
·
Site investigations experience, planning and implementation AMEC - 12 months ago
