More specifically, the goal of Desjardins Financing Services is to ensure the management of financial services and contribute to business development for the caisse network.
Responsibilities
In association with an expert mortgage representative who will support the associate representative in its business development of the sector dedicated:
Solicit real estate agents in offices assigned to the mortgage representative in order to present and highlight the advantages of various Desjardins mortgage products.
Establish and maintain long-term business relationships with assigned real estate offices, in order to maximize mortgage referrals.
Meet with prospective borrowers to evaluate their needs and to propose customized offers, profitable to both Desjardins Group and to the borrowers in terms of their mortgage needs.
Submit mortgage applications to Desjardins Financing Services for approval and provide the necessary follow-up until the loan is funded.
Work closely with the caisses of an assigned region to contribute to the business development of the mortgage lending market via market intermediaries and establish common strategies to achieve mutual business goals.
Solicit builders in an assigned region, in partnership with the caisses and Desjardins business centres, to provide information on mortgage financing opportunities to prospective borrowers.
Ensure high service standards to all three clients (caisses, real estate brokers and borrowers) to maintain a high degree of satisfaction.
Qualifications
Diploma of Collegial Studies in Business Administration Technology.
At least 2 years of experience demonstrating sales representative skills.
Licence issued by the FSCO (Financial Services Commission of Ontario) held or to be obtained.
Other combinations of relevant academic or work experience may be considered.
Ability to use desktop tools (Windows, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes).
Understanding of the real estate brokerage business (asset).
Written and spoken English and French.
Excellent sales, negotiation and business development skills.
Basic knowledge of personal credit analysis.
Ability to communicate effectively and establish new business relationships.
Motivation to achieve ambitious sales goals and focus on results.

Candidates will be self-employed, must own a vehicle, be available to travel frequently within the entire territory and be willing to adapt to a varying schedule (days, evenings and weekends).
