Our client, a property management and investment company located in Vancouver, is looking for a Marketing and Public Relations Manager to join their expanding team. An ideal candidate is a creative proactive individual with experience in advertising and brand management.

The primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Position company brand as a leader in all its markets by developing and maintaining a consistent corporate image across all media outlets
Identify yearly marketing priorities and manage agreements with suppliers and contractors to effectively manage marketing budget
Design and prepare promotional material, advertisements, and act as a corporate spokesperson for all media inquiries
Attract prospective clients by enhancing corporate image, identifying sources of potential tenants
Implement and manage events at each building in consultation with the Property Manager
Act as a resource to Property Managers, provide customer service training and training events, and negotiate bulk pricing on advertising
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

Five or more years' experience in marketing, public relations, or related field
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field. MBA Preferred
Background in real estate, hotel or multi-family housing market
Creative thinker with an ability to create a positive newsworthy headline relating to the company's project initiatives
Experience in Digital Online Marketing and New Media
Experience in SEO, SEM, PPC
Knowledge of graphic design and related software, especially Adobe CS
Proven excellent track record and a knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
Exceptional communication skills
Compensation for this position will be $75,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. This position is based in Vancouver with expectations of travel to Calgary and Toronto. Candidates must have a vehicle for travel between Vancouver building locations.
