AECOM’s Regina office is currently seeking to add an Intermediate Transportation Technologist to join the Roads/Highways group in the Transportation team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Participate in and oversee the design of urban and rural roadways and highways.
Prepare and review tender documents and project cost estimates.
Take responsibility for the designs/tender documents prepared in the local transportation group.
Assist project managers with the opportunity to move into a Project Manager role in the future.
Advise on technical issues that arise during the execution of projects.
Being a lead technical resource for transportation work in the Regina office.
Provide technical leadership in client meetings on transportation issues.
Work closely with design and CAD staff to ensure designs meet current design standards, guidelines and other requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized post secondary institution or a diploma in Civil Engineering technology with applicable experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience in road design
Experience with Civil 3D or similar roadway design software.
