Our Client, an electrical contracting company in the Mississauga region, is seeking experienced and highly motivated individuals for the position of Journeyman Electrician. The person needs to have at least 5 years Canadian experience as a 309A certified electrician serving the industrial and commercial sectors.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Installation of power distribution systems including but not limited to electrical breaker panels, transformers motor control cabinets, conduit, lighting, and main service installations
• Service and maintenance of existing electrical systems as needed, including main switch gears, transformers, motors and the like. Good troubleshooting skills and experience are required
• Ensuring all installations meet Canadians and Ontario electrical code requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with 309A Master Licence (a 442 license only will not suffice) in the industrial or commercial sectors
• A very strong working knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code (individuals will be tested on their code strength)
• Strong organizational and communication skills so as to properly communicate with and understand the customer
• Clean driving record
• Excellent safety record
