We are seeking a Account Manager II in our Captive Management department.

General Summary

Responsible for the day to day management of a portfolio of clients, the number of which will vary depending on the complexity and size of the companies’ programs and the clients’ information requirements. The account executive and account manager work very closely together and if either should be absent from the office the level of service received by the client should not be affected.

Essential Functions

Maintain all financial records.

Prepare periodic financial statements.

Monitor premium cash flow to maximize investment income.

Manage local and overseas bank accounts.

Administer investments in accordance with pre-determined guidelines.

Collect premium receivables.

Pay claims based on claim guidelines.

Monitor aggregates on Insurance policies.

Pay general and administrative expenses.

Plan and complete annual audit

Prepare and file the Statutory Financial Return.

Liaison with brokers and front for renewal of insurance programs, if no Insurance Officer.

Monitor compliance with local laws and regulations.

Liaison with the local law firm which provides Corporate Secretarial services.

Liaison with the Supervisor of Insurance if rulings or exemptions are required.

Arrange Board of Directors and Annual General Meetings as required.

Ensuring the Account Executive and Marsh overseas client executive is copied on all relevant correspondence

Maintain the permanent file and company information sheet for each company

Maintain client documents, either hardcopy or computer stored, under standard filing systems.

Supervise account administrator(s).

Qualifications

University degree required plus professional accounting designation.

2 to 4 years experience.
