The Field Service Representative (FSR) will visit The Home Depot stores within
an assigned territory as scheduled and will perform the following on behalf of
AkzoNobel:
Merchandise and stock brochures and color chips, clean and maintain color
displays.
Merchandise and maintain Glidden Paint, Sikkens & Flood Stain and Liquid
Nails on shelf, including stocking and facing.
Maintain product presentation to ensure brand integrity.
Assist with product resets and display retrofits as scheduled.
Provide product knowledge to store associates and assist store customers.
In-store product ordering and inventory counting.
Monitor ordering system verify inventory counts (change if necessary) request
more product if necessary.
Maintain working relationships with store associates and management.
Assist AkzoNobel Business Development Rep and Regional Sales VP with resolving
store concerns.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED OUTSIDE OF ASSIGNED STORES:
Order color collateral via the internet at store or at home on company web site.
Occasionally transport color collateral from personal residence to assigned
stores.
Receive and respond to company communication via phone & email.
Utilize company web sites as required to report daily work activities and report
payroll hours weekly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS & CAPABILITIES:
High-school Diploma/GED
Experience working within a retail environment a plus.
Heavy lifting required - must be able to lift up to 65 pounds.
Reliable transportation is required.
Ability to work well with little supervision in a retail environment.
Capability to order and organize sales collateral in assigned stores to ensure
all collateral is in stock and well maintained.
General computer skills, email, website navigation, typing.
Must have access to a computer and printer, with the ability to access the
internet and email.
Enjoy training store associates and assisting end user consumers. Good
interpersonal and communication skills.
