Manages the product lifecycle (price, promotion, place, product) for MDU segment
Develops and manage the implementation of Product and marketing Plans for MDU
Sets revenue and expenses budgets, manages to targets and explains variances
Accountable for revenue, units, and profitability while working with many other teams to deliver
Manages the financial performance of the portfolio with weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis and associated variance analysis.
Analyzes the results to generate useful insight to help set weekly direction with others to improve the financial performance of the portfolio.
Research and implement pricing models (cost, profit margin, EVA, pricing strategies)
Assess new business opportunities for the ongoing development of products and provide recommendations based on business case evaluation
Sets the direction for, and implements "customer experience standards" to ensure customer satisfaction. (i.e.: reliability, provisioning, etc.)
Evaluates and influences change within Bell Aliant’s sales and support channels
Develop and recommend appropriate strategies to optimize portfolio success at various stages of the product lifecycle with a view to optimizing customer and shareholder value
Assess appropriate markets and segment needs for products and services
Evaluate market opportunities, gather customer requirements and collect customer feedback
Research the markets, including competitive analysis and customer analysis to understand the customer needs and provide opportunity to develop new products
Initiate, plan, and execute product/service extensions, enhancements and terminations based on an understanding of impact on existing Aliant products and services
Develops and manages required vendor partnerships
Develops business cases as required too secure funds to move the business forward including associated approvals through the capital management process
Determine business requirements to address market needs identified by Market Managers, as required

Work with take to market team to create and revise implementation, support and billing processes

Determine the future product functionality and features to improve sales or revenue and communicate marketing requirements to product development team
·
Provide strategic product guidance to the service developers of new products and services
·
Ensure the required enhancements, product extensions, technological advancements, regulatory and/or legal issues are managed and realized through changes to existing products or services and by introducing new products
