Ensure quality services to users. Ensure the needs of libraries in Zone 6. Prepare and administer the zone’s budget once approved. Participate in the region-wide development of action plans and service development projects for libraries throughout Vitalité Health Network, in collaboration with the Director of Competency Development.

Requirements:
Master of Library and Information Science;

Past experience in library science, preferably with diverse responsibilities;

Work experience in the health field desired;

Sound knowledge of information and communication technologies;

Interest in the field of research;

Communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, ability to work in a changing environment and handle challenges;

Ability to work independently and as a team member;

Physical ability to perform assigned duties;

Good previous work history (performance and attendance);

Adherence to principles of professional ethics and organizational values;

Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by Vitalité Health Network.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
