You bring these pivotal elements to the role:
The ability to motivate and action your logistics team to consistently deliver on your performance metrics (you love to brag and take great pride in achieving what was thought to be unachievable).
Strong planning and execution skills - a measure twice, cut once type of person. Know what you need to get done, plan how it's going to get done and get it done.
Hands on experience with ERP systems as well as excellent knowledge of the methodology and application of warehouse management systems (WMS)
Extensive experience in working directly with 3PL warehouses. You build strong relationships with these partners and you use your excellent communication skills to outline expectations, review performance and drive results.
Above average prioritization skills and sense of urgency. You inspire your team and suppliers to achieve customer commitments by providing creative solutions - late or missed shipments are not an option.
EDI and ASN experience (we will assume that if you don't know what these stand for, you haven't worked with them before).
Lead by example work ethic. If you need to roll up your sleeves and get hands on to meet a deadline, let's get rolling.
A desire to learn and grow into a fully proficient logistics leader who is the person everyone wants to work with.
An interest in health, nutrition and fitness wouldn't hurt and if you are a great volleyball player, that's a plus also!
