Position Summary

Work as part of a construction team and/or as the team lead on various construction and fabrication modular estimate classes. Work within the established estimating framework of procedures and standards to produce estimates of the highest quality.

Core Responsibilities

Ability to develop and utilize unit rate and reimbursable construction estimates Ability to develop detailed and factored construction indirects estimates Prepare and present estimate plans, schedules and man-hour budgets Prepare and present estimate basis and final estimate product Lead various estimate planning, verification and review meetings Offer guidance and mentorship to Junior and Intermediate team players

Qualifications

Strong understanding of heavy industrial refining and petrochemical construction Primary focus of expertise to be in the piping and mechanical disciplines but needs to have an understanding of all other disciplines Strong understanding of construction unit rate estimating Strong understanding of estimate methodologies and deliverables Strong understanding of industry and heavy industrial construction benchmarks and metrics MS Excel, CCE (Kbase), MS Office, MS Power Point 10 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and estimating profession This position would be based in Edmonton
