Information Technician
Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, you will perform LAN/WAN duties involving the design, analysis, maintenance, and implementation of LAN/WAN equipment and networks and maintain network operations, hardware, software and user applications on a daily basis. Further, you will install hardware and software applications which can include, but are not limited to Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Great Plains Dynamics, Land Manager, and Fire Services related software as well as provide assistance and instruction to all staff for all supported software on the network.
You have an Associate's Degree and/or proven background experience in network administration and a Graduation certificate from a three-year Computer Science program at the Community College level or equivalent experience. Your progressive experience with LAN and WAN technologies in a Windows environment, Wi-Fi Wireless Technologies, switches, routers, firewalls, and VoIP phone system, is complemented by your experience with various protocols TCT/ IP, UDP, SDMT, FTP, P2P and intrusion detection systems, and Acronis Image software. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2012. Great Plains , SharePoint, Access. Visio, CLASS, and Auto-cad software and experience with Visual Basic programming are required. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with experience is preferred.
Compensation - $58,581.00 - $68,919.00. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
