The Opportunity

Our Winnipeg office is looking for a senior U.S. tax professional that can demonstrate through past experience, quality performance, knowledge and character that he or she is the right person to partner with.
As a leader within our Tax practice you will assist in the overall management of our growing U.S. tax consulting and compliance practice. Our multi-faceted practice includes working in the areas of U.S. corporate, partnership and individual tax and identifying and executing planning opportunities for minimization of cross-border tax rates. As well, you will be involved in engagement planning and management, including budgeting, coordination of the compliance process, and the collection of the data and billings, and building direct client relationships.
Required Skills
The Candidate
As the successful candidate your qualifications include a professional accounting designation (CPA would be considered an asset) and a minimum of 5 years of U.S. tax consulting experience. An advanced degree in U.S. tax or law is highly desirable. Strong technical, written and verbal skills are required. You will possess proven leadership abilities and be comfortable with tax research methods and databases. In addition, it is essential that you have a US preparer tax identification number (PTIN).
