Recruitment Coordinator / Business Development Support (Job Number:310010)
SAIC Canada’s Regina office has an immediate need for a unique individual to provide recruitment coordination and business development support for our division. This position is responsible for performing a variety of activities related to recruiting efforts as well as assisting with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The successful applicant will provide recruiting support for Business Development Leads and Account Managers and be responsible for the overall recruitment process including:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Interacting with Business Development Leads, Account Managers, Functional Managers and applicants
- Coordinating and participating in technical interviews
- Reviewing employment applications to ensure completeness
- Maintaining a database of candidates and related documents
- Coordinating proposal development
- Posting positions on job boards and websites
- Using Microsoft Word, candidate is also responsible for extracting relevant information from one document format into another.
- Providing back-up support to Office Manager
- Conducting other administrative duties as needed
Post-secondary education preferably related to staffing and/or human resources or a combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 8 years related administrative support experience necessary, preferably in a recruiting and staffing capacity. Must have demonstrated effective critical thinking skills, including the ability to anticipate problems and take proactive steps with limited guidance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
Candidates must have excellent time management and organizational skills with an acute attention to detail. A demonstrated ability to multi-task to meet deadlines is also required. Candidate should also be proficient with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) and the ability to conduct research on the Internet. Previous experience working in an IT consulting environment is desirable.
