The Fleet Technologist will be responsible for providing technical and quantitative analysis for a variety projects, programs and assets types within assigned areas of Fleet and Materiel Management operations.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar program in field related to Fleet section.
Registered as a Certified Engineering Technologist with the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists.
Three years experience in a fleet environment.
Must have at minimum a valid class 5 driver’s license
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of accepted work procedures of Fleet section
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good presentation skills with working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
Good computer skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work independently.
Must have good time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good supervisory skills.
Must have a good working knowledge of safe work procedures.
