Job Details:
Representing the manufacturer General Motors, this position develops and maintains business relationships within the dealerships to assist them in increasing sales volumes and market share objectives, within a specific geographic area and to generally increase awareness of XM and OnStar. Primary responsibilities involve performing market analysis and identifying market opportunities to ensure the manufacturer is in a position to develop additional opportunities and ultimately increase their market share. Some travel required for Quarterly Regional Meetings and Quarterly dealership visits with Field OSM.

Specific Responsibilities:
Conduct Dealer sales, marketing and product training contract at all GM dealers in Canada
Resolves all Dealer/Customer satisfaction issues through appropriate channels
Ensures all OnStar and XM Radio business objectives are attained within Territories assigned
Provide accurate, detailed and timely communications via email voice mail and in person, as required
Establish effective relationships with GMAC VSSM zone personnel
Conduct research and continue education on XM and OnStar Radio products
Must attend Regional new vehicle events, shows and exhibits to represent OnStar and XM products
Other assignment as directed by Central office management in regards to XM/OnStar Radio products and services
Preparation and distribution of reports and aids before and after conference calls
Regular correspondence with dealer network through telephone, email, mail, and fax
Responsibile for creation and distribution of bi-monthly report for dealers and sales personnel
Essential Qualifications

Education/Knowledge: Strong communication and sales skills; Product knowledge an asset. Post-secondary degree: BA/BSc preferred. Technically and mechanically minded with an interest in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of or experience with Automotive Dealerships.

Experience / Skill: Intermediate to advanced skills MS Excel. Experience in sales, marketing, and training related to the automotive industry. Experience and exposure to contacting automotive dealerships in selling or servicing positions.
