We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to work out of our Winnipeg facility.
Our operation includes 2 Finn-Power lasers and a combination shear / punch, 5 CNC Cincinnati Press Brakes, Mig & Tig Welding, special operations such as spot welding, finished assembly and powder coating.
Guided by the companys Strategic plan and in consultation with both subordinates and other members of the SMT, establishes monthly and annual safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost targets. The Operations Manager also establishes monthly and annual budgets for all operations-related expenditures.
The Operations Manager will assemble and manage a highly-motivated group of employees for the purpose of meeting or exceeding customers expectations in a safe and highly-efficient manner. With the assistance of the Human Resources Director, the Operations Manager will oversee the hiring, training, monitoring, evaluating, rewarding and disciplining of all Operations personnel while also clearly defining responsibilities, performance targets and the consequences of meeting, exceeding, or falling short of those targets.
The Operations Manager also monitors and analyzes all operations-related statistics and continuously seeks to improve the safety and efficiency of all production processes without compromising quality or the timeliness of deliveries.
The ideal candidate will have previous operations experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with sheet metal and steel would be considered an asset.
