Role Summary

This role with be responsible to represent the Vision Care organization by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects in order to grow the organization's portfolio of products. Applies a broad knowledge of clinical and economic expertise, as well as the organization's products, services and marketing techniques to close sales and maintain relations with customers. Keeps abreast of new products/services, price trends and other general information of applicable interest.

This role requires extensive travel (50%) in the Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Regina area.

Responsibilities:
Sales and promotion of ACUVUE

®

Brand Contact Lenses

Managing a territory and executing sales calls on Optometrists, Opticians, Ophthalmologists and Optical retail outlets. Territory includes Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina and surrounding areas.

Implementation of sales/marketing strategies as set out in yearly and quarterly sales direction

Assessing competitive activity on an ongoing basis and reporting as required

Contributing to the Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Sales team through communication of success stories and new approaches to selling and marketing our product line

Conducting professional product-oriented sessions with key customer groups on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

Education, Experience & Technical Skill Requirements:
Post Secondary Education required; health care or related discipline preferred.

Bachelor's degree is preferred in health care or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years in a business to business or healthcare sales environment is required.

Computer software proficiency in MS office suite is required.

As driving is an essential requirement of the role, a safe driving record as per Johnson & Johnson SAFE Fleet guidelines is required.

Competencies and Soft skill requirements:
Thorough knowledge and understanding of sales applications and principles demonstrated through a strong sales track record is required.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication are required.

Demonstrated result orientation and influencing skills in a fast paced sales environment are required.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must have in this role as it involves dealing with a large territory and extensive travel requirements.
