Full time Position

The Senior Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting renewal and new buiness for NonStandard Auto business.

Responsibility for processing endorsements, cancellations and reviewing and approving release of renewals.

Underwrites all manually-rated and reinsurance policies and manages broker portfolio to ensure profitability

Coach and mentor junior staff, work in a team environment and sharing assignments among peers.

Requirements:
College or university degree or pursing a CIP designation or equivalent

Minimum 5 years experience in underwriting auto risks including motor homes, antique cars, motor cycles, trailers etc.

Able to set priorities to meet deadlines; make sound business decisions based on policy wordings; identify and resolve problems on a timely basis

Excellent communication and analytical skills and able to multi task in an ever changing environment.
