Job Description

One of Modis banking clients is currently looking for a Middleware SME for a contract position.

Required Qualifications

Candidate Must Have:

• Excellent AIX, Linux and Window 2000/2008 experience

Min 5 yrs Apache/Tomcat server working experience involving various apache tomcat versions

• Weblogic server(8.1 -10.3) and JBoss experience
• Sound knowledge and hands-skill on apache / tomcat server configuration and troubleshooting, such as loadbalance, session stickiness as well as SSL.
• Excellent communication skills
• High degree of multitasking
• Ability to provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Thorough understanding of PMLC and SDLC processes.
• Solid IIS experience

Nice to have

• Prior banking experience
• Previous experience working for a large environment
• Experience with WebSphere v6 and7
• Some J2EE development experience is an asset.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Oracle or DB2
• System Capacity Management experience.
• Exposure to SOA based apps would be an asset.
