This position is responsible for executing the volunteering program for Salesforce.com employees in key regions of Canada and the eastern United states. The ideal person is passionate about volunteerism. This person will be the face of the Salesforce.com Foundation internally to our employees but will also represent our commitment to service externally in our communities. We are looking for someone who can take our strong headquarters program and adapt it to our growing regions.
Responsibilities
Maintain and grow relationships with a core list of nonprofit partners for five target geographies
Develop ongoing nonprofit outreach; developing and maintaining a pipeline of volunteering opportunities for Volunteerforce
Aid teams in the development of large-scale volunteering events
Manage employee communications, promoting foundation programs to inspire service
Work with the engagement team to develop and execute regional initiatives for key foundation programs such as, pro bono service, service at customer conferences (Cloudforce), and/or volunteer-supported cash grantmaking (Healthy Communities)
Skills and Experience
2-3 years of experience with program management
Experience working across multiple geographies
Experience engaging with nonprofits and coordinating volunteering service
A natural networker and connector
Experience with marketing and internal communications, including an ability to clearly and enthusiastically and comfortable presenting to large groups
