Senior Financial Accountant

Mullen Group Ltd. is a diversified Transportation and Oilfield Services company managing a network of companies that operate throughout North America. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Okotoks, AB Corporate Accounting team.

The position involves responsibility for:

• Analyze Corporate and subsidiary financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with the documentation and implementation of new accounting standards, internal controls and corporate disclosure initiatives.
• Support Business Units in AR collections, account reconciliations and related analysis.
• Assist in business process reviews.
• Assist in corporate reporting.
• Assist in the budgeting process.
• Other tasks as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Completion (or near completion) of a professional program (CA, CGA, CMA)
• At least 3 years related experience
• This position would be ideal for an individual who is adaptable to a fast-pace and ever-changing environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated self-confidence, initiative and perseverance.
